Its been a week since I updated. Damn work and tests. Not forgetting extreme fatigue.


Lots of stuff happened during the week:



Wednesday:

Normal school day, had election day too for the Student Council. Smsed in the numbers for the nominees. After which the day ahead was damn boring.

Thursday:

Normal school day too. After school, met up with Yen Han Macus and Sihao to sign up for tuition at Mavis Tutorial Centre at Kovan. The bus ride is hell man, it makes a big detour around Hougang just to get to Kovan. Oh ya, Alvin Quek attends tuition there too! The centre is so damn screwed up. Its so damn messy. Just to look for the classroom is like hell. The woman at the counter is also damn blur, I gave her the money for the registration fees and 30 seconds later after she attended to another student, she asked me where I took the money. Damn it man. And Macus looked like he was flirting with her. And she called a Sec 5 boy a primary school kid. So, yeah, Sotong. Then we had dinner, with me and Yen Han applying econs learnt and buying the cheapest food around "Economical Nasi Lemak" or something. $2. The other two got scammed in the face, paying $4 for crap. THEN IT WAS THE DAMN BUS RIDE BACK AGAIN.SCREW THIS CRAP MAN.

Friday:

Normal school day again. There was Colosseum, but I skipped it for Speech Day. MJC is a mini jail. I now finally understand why MS decided to escape through a window. So many procedures, get green form, get CT signature blah blah. The other prize winners from my school where also stuck in the GO. Darren wanted to leave early too. So he resorted to certain means. It was hilarious. I won't disclose anything here, just in case it gets him into trouble. I'm a nice person. Darren is thinking of quitting school. He said something about having an answer by the end of this week. Argh which means one less fun person in class. So went home, was late for Speech Day. Got $200 worth of popular vouchers. Not cash. Vouchers. So that means my comic and CD expenditure is settled. Then something damn bloody disappointing happened. It pissed off at least 5 other people. Didn't attend Songfest. Ended up watching Forbbiden Kingdom at TM. Bumped into Angie(the one who withdrew). I called her name, she turned around said HI before asking whether I am Yong Joong. HAHA. She is in Temasek Polytechnic now, in Hospitality course. She asked if everyone in class was doing fine and I lied through my teeth. Nice to see a familiar face again!

Saturday(Today):

Gym. Forgot to tell Shangfa. Joel was forever damn smily, makes my day. There are some really weird people in SP right Joel?

Then attended some 3 year memorial thingy for my great grandma. Half the time I don't know what the hell is happening during the rites. I ask the adults, they say they don't know too. So you pay money to not know what is happening. I managed to squeeze some studying into the minute time I had.



Forbidden Kingdom was not bad, quite lame too. The fight scenes between Jet Li and Jackie Chan were awesome!

I managed to find some time to watch the remake of Day Of the Dead. Its ok... although still not as good as the original. George A. Romeo still owns. As usual, the zombies in the remakes are like monkeys. They can jump so damn high and even crawl on the ceiling. Same thing happened with Dawn Of the Dead remake but that was good. But still Night of The Living Dead is the best. Black and White horror.

I'm too lazy to post. So I'm just list out the more significant shit that happened today:

1. I went to the gym with many people.

3. I had Long John Silvers for lunch.
4. Bumped into Weiting and Alan today.

Whats up dudes, I just came back from MJC's movie marathon which lasted from 9pm to 7am this morning. I only slept one hour during KungFu Dunk, damn tired now, but still got strength to use the computer.

We went to Tampines Mall to shop for Dominic's shoes and some junk food before heading to the marathon. Movies shown aren't really worth mentioning, except for 不能说的秘密(Secret). I sat through most of the movies and taking breaks during the intervals between the movies by going to the toilet and not forgetting sleeping through 1 hour of KungFu Dunk. Me and Hinkai spent the last stretch of the MM outside the hall cause the hall was getting too cold for us to handle. So, together with another boy and girl, we stoned outside the hall until.... HinKai starting sleeping on the floor. So I couldn't leave him there and thus spent the last of the MM admiring the sky. Overall, it was ok except for the aircon.

Then this morning. we went to White Sands for Burger King breakfast. We began talking about other JCs and Weijie said something which really struck me. "I hardly mix around with people with other classes," Weijie said. This made me think. Since JC life is going to be hell, the only people we can rely on the make it better would be friends, right? Not that I have no friends, but its fun to have many. I think that I'm quite sociable, its just that I don't make the first move to making friends(especially true when it comes to the opposite sex). I don't know what to say to them. Haha. But still, I'll try my best.

Wa, damn tired now. Later maybe still meeting 4E4 gang for basketball. Tuesday got Chem Lecture Test and Thursday Econs test. Ok see ya.

Today was fun, Mr Cia didn't come again because of some wuhsu competiton. Rachel should continue winning and there'll be even less Chinese lessons. We began comparing Poly and JC today and realised that whatever JC can do, Poly can do but whatever JC cannot do, Poly can DO! Dominic, Hancong and Alcin Hoe could name a hell lot of stuff, from dyeing of hair to tapling of pants. Really funny people. All of us agree that JC really got no life. Now I'm studying for chem and later at night, I'm gonna prepare for maths test on Thursday. It sucks man. I can't remember the last time I've had a break without work. Well, I hope staying overnight at school on thursday for movie marathon would be a good time to unwind. Most probably wouldn't be watching the movies cause they are lame, so I might go roam the school or just find a place to sit. When people move on to a JC, they mature. Seriously, its very obvious and its awesome. They think and dress differently now. Haha, all the new people I'll meet. Tomorrow is friday's timetable! Yay, means its going to be a very relaxed day tomorrow, only one PW lecture. But then again, 2.4km run. I needa pass man. I don't want to spend an extra 2 months in army when there is no need to. Ok, see ya, gonna play some dota before having dinner and going back to studying again.

That was random. Today was ok, not boring. Went out to the gym as usual before heading to play lan with the guys. It seems that the curse is true, you can never win with the person on your team. Its effectively one person less! Yuan Hong thinks I'm in love. Haha.

There are stacks of homework to be completed, tests to prepare for... Sigh, its rather depressing. Time seems like its limited nowadays. Everyday I come home from school, I try to squeeze as many things as possible into that miserable 4-5 hours before sleeping. I can't sleep late or else I'll sleep during lectures. Thats not something I want considering the fact that I'm already lagging behind. I miss those carefree days in ES. No pressure to study and a whole lot of time to sit in the food court waiting for Kevin to finish his 猪什汤。I heard the $3.00 western food store shifted out of Tampines Mart! I lived much off their food during secondary schools years.

Come to think of it, things really have changed. During secondary one and two days, we would go home immediately everyday after school, mainly to game. In sec 3 and 4, for some reason, we would spend 1 hour+++++++++ in the food court just talking and waiting for people to finish their food. Now in JC, everyone is like looking forward to going home everyday. History repeats itself! Suren's band got into the finals, yeah.

I've planned out certain stuff I want to complete during this undefined period of time:

1) Survive JC life

2) Solve maths problems like solving 1+1.

3) Rid the world of emo fags.

4) Keep my bank balance above $1000.00

5) Purge myself of bordem, so probably I'm going to get a electric guitar.

6) After completing 5), learn Canon In D.

7) Make Hinkai Jealous after 6)

8) Try to remember the absurdlt ridiculously long and artistic URL of Dominic's blog.

9) I've only worn my new pair of shoes out once on Good Friday, I hope to wear it sometime again.

10) Watch The Evil Dead and understand why the hell Bruce Campbell got so famous for battling a group of demons in the middle of a forest.

11) Meet up with my primary school friends to catch up. I haven't seen them since seeing them for 3 days 2 nights last christmas.

12) Being able to watch movies every Saturday and Sunday morning.

13) Hand in my PI without having to redo it again.

Thats alot of stuff to complete and its also the reason why I used the word undefined. Yay, not school on friday. Anyone going for movie marathon on Thursday?

Crap man, I forgot that Esleen was organising a steamboat gathering at bugis today. I thought I was going to miss the gathering because of Guitar but in the end it was cancelled. I only remembered when Weeping talked about it just now during basketball. Those Ahbengs at the basketball court really don't accept the fact they lost, gathering different people to play against Sihao and all after every loss.


I felt a real sense of achievement just now, when Sihao told me that he was scolded for using the word screw when he was writing a reflection essay. I remember teaching him the word screw as a substitute for fuck last year during the 'O' Levels as a way of preparing for the English Paper. Haha, someone finally acknowledged him using the word.


Today was a very short day without CCA and so I had much time to spare. Spent some time haviing lunch and slacking in school with Hinkai, Dominic and other S401ers. Walked a bus stop before taking a bus down to 450 where I played basketball with the Yenhan Yuanhong Wei Hong Yenkang Weeping Sihao Yiwei and Eric. Played till about 7+ before going home. I would be watching a movie now if not for the fact that Dominic cannot make it. Sigh... JC life bores me to the core. I wanna go out very badly, but upcoming tests and homework due forbids me. A movie in Tampines would do fine, anyone interested?


I'm going to gym tomorrow with the Yhs again. I think they are going out, so probably no Lan. Yuan Hong says that when a girl looks at you, you should smile back. I think I should start doing that.

The most awesome day since Jan 1st

Mr Cia didn't come today, meaning we got 3 periods of lesson free(2 chinese, 1 compass). We had a HELL lot of fun in the container classroom. It comes with air-con and speakers for us to blast music. Blasted music till the teacher next door came over to "check" us out. Apparently, it was because of my noisy music which attracted the teacher over. I don't blame myself, I blame Atreyu :D.


We left after one period of chinese to have lunch and then we hit the gym. Great workout, I can feel the stretch in every musclein my body now.


While sitting down to cool down after changing, we began talking about the end of the world. Apparently, according to Joel, 2012 is doomsday. So assuming that that is true, we'll be dead then. Then the conversation progressed on to our crazy siblings and then death. Three of us actually had near death experiences! Dominic nearly died of dehydration, Hinkai almost died in a car accident and I almost died by falling off a double-decker bed. Which then reminds me of how stupid I was then. Instead of sleeping on the side with the barricade, I slept on the side without the barricade. I was wide awake when I fell off the bed and my head hit ground first. That was in primary 3.


Then, some sms came and one of their friends mom only has at most 3 days to live. Apparently shes been in the hospital for quite awhile. There was this moment of silence, when everyone say the sms. I began questioning myself. One day, if any of my parents were to die, would I cry like crazy? I haven't cried at any of my relatives' funerals. Not during the funeral and cremation. I feel sad deep inside, but I just can't cry. I see everybody with tears in their eyes and ask myself whether I'm heartless. I've probably come to terms with death and am ready to face it anytime. But still, I don't want to die young.


2.4km tomorrow = super wet and dirty pe t-shirt. Maybe meeting up with the YHs too.

Sweeny Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is a really good movie. Those who have watched it will know that it is actually a musical. I could have enjoyed it if not for my grandma. The moment Sweeny Todd(Played by the very cool Johnny Depp)began singing, she started to say how naughty my sister was. I just answered her politely, replying "Uh." like a robot every 3 seconds.


Ok, I haven't been updating recently due to work and extreme fatigue. Not many stuff happened recently, but this week has been better than the previous. Probably because I'm beginning to adapt to the JC lifestyle, boring and lifeless. Met up with YuanHong and gang yesterday after collecting my cert and yearbook. Haha, everytime I'm with them, its always to kill the stress. Felt so much better after DotA and headed home to study maths Trigonometrical Formulas. I think I'm going to some revision on this very rare day where there is no homework otherwise I'm going to die a very terrible death year end.
